Yeah he may be different from the rest but maybe he didn't choose to be. There's no controlling love. Maybe he's tried and tried to love a girl but found he could not. Maybe he hugs his pillow at night and cries because of all the mean taunts thrown at him during the day. Maybe he's scared and lonely inside. Maybe he wishes he were never born. Maybe he just wants someone to understand him and not run away. Maybe he just wants a friend.

Have you ever thought about that? Have you ever sat down and truely thought about his feelings? What if he was you? How would you feel if someone constantly turned away from you because you loved someone of the same gender. How would you feel if people didn't want you to live because you had sexual thoughts about your best friend in the locker room.
